a new year

I finished my second year of college at Moody-Chicago, but have just recently decided to transfer to Grand Valley State University to study Nursing (you can ask me about those reasons later if you want). I'm starting a new job on monday as a homecare nurse's aid and my sister moved out today (Costa Rica mission trip, soccer training, and TIU). So while she's going to Chi-area, I'm coming back. While living at home again was not on my wishlist, it is temporary and offers me alot of other opportunities that I'm excited about. Also, I'm going to the doctor on monday to see if they can find out why I'm having so much stomach pain-hopefully it's just allergies or something not-so-serious. Either way, I'm praying for a quick diagnosis so I can move past it.
Other than all those changes, my summer has consisted of mostly work. I'm averaging 35hrs a week which is draining at times. Steph had ACL surgery in addition to her wisdom teeth removal so my partner in crime was laid up for a good chunk of her [short] summer. Thomas is growing like a weed, and starting to talk like an older kid, so I'm looking forward to being a bigger part of his life this coming semester than I was the past two years.
God brought me many adventures in Washington and Chicago, and I'm excited and hopeful that He will do the same during this next step in my journey.
